- All gemstones sold by Magari Gems (Pvt) Ltd. are 100% natural gemstones, unless clearly stated otherwise.
- We do not deal in synthetic or lab-created stones without disclosure.
- Each gemstone undergoes careful internal inspection and quality checks before sale.
🧪 Available Certification Options
We offer both local and international gemstone certification depending on customer requirements:
🏛️ Local Certification (Sri Lanka)
- Certification from recognized Sri Lankan gemological laboratories. (EGL, GIC, GGTL, CGL etc....)
- Suitable for local verification and standard documentation
- Confirms gemstone type, authenticity, and basic characteristics
🌍 International Certification (On Customer Request)
We provide internationally reputed laboratory certificates upon request, including:
- GIA – Gemological Institute of America
- GRS – Gem Research Swiss lab
- IGI – International Gemological Institute
- Other internationally recognized gem labs (upon request)
⚠️ Please note: GIA and GRS do not operate official laboratories in Sri Lanka.
✈️ International Certification Process
When international certification is requested:
- 📦 The selected gemstone is securely prepared for shipment
- ✈️ The stone is sent to an authorized international laboratory (commonly Thailand or other approved locations)
- 🔬 The laboratory conducts independent testing and analysis
- 📄 An official certificate is issued directly by the laboratory
- 🔍 Certificate details can be verified online via the issuing lab’s official website
All handling is done with maximum care and security.
⏱️ Certification Timeframe
- Processing time depends on the laboratory, gemstone type, and size
- Typical international certification timeline: 2–4 weeks
- Exact timeframe will be communicated before confirmation
💰 Certification Fees
- International certification involves additional costs charged by the issuing laboratory
- Fees vary depending on gemstone type, carat weight, and lab selected
- All certification costs are clearly informed and approved by the customer in advance

- All international certificates provided by Magari Gems are:

- ✔️ Original and tamper-proof
- ✔️ Verifiable using official lab verification tools
